3 Sections of the Sanctuary Outlay

 3 Sections of the Sanctuary Outlay:
I. Outer Court: [JUSTIFICATION--Grace/Forgiveness] Open to all.
Articles of Furniture: Altar of Sacrifice (pointing to the Lamb of God on the Cross for forgiveness of sins).
Brazen Laver
(where the priests would symbolically wash before entering the Holy Place for Daily Ministration---this symbolizes Baptism).
Only the priests could advance to the Holy place. (God expects His people---a "Royal Priesthood" representing Him on earth--after coming to God and repenting of sins, to then be Baptized and move to the next court).
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD:
--though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;
--though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people;
--that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Isaiah 1:18/1 Peter 2:9

II. Inner Court: Also known as The Holy Place [SANCTIFICATION--Holiness/Obedience] Only the priests could enter where the Daily Ministration took place.
Articles of Furniture: Table of Shewbread (where the bread and
drink cup for offerings were placed. Christ and His Word are the Bread of Life. Represents God's people studying the Word. Also the bread and drink cup offerings would be symbolized in Christ's Last Supper carried on by Christians in the Communion Service).
7 Branch Candlestick (kept burning 24/7 by the oil. We are told the oil represents the Holy Spirit. It symbolizes God's people witnessing the Light to the world).
Altar of Incense (symbolizing God's people's prayers. It was up against the curtain that separated the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place. God's people's prayers were as close as they could get to God).
*This all represents God's people with a changed Sanctified life---of Bible study, witnessing and prayer. He's showing you what He expects of you.
*Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
 And He took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying,
This is My body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of Me.
Likewise also the cup after supper, saying,
This cup is the new testament in My blood, which is shed for you.
*Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
*Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
2 Timothy 2:15/ Luke 22:19,20/Matthew 5:16/Romans 8:26

III. Most Holy Place: Also known as the Holy of Holies [GLORIFICATION with God --when this great controversy between God and His opponent, between the dual decrees from the Throne of God of LET THERE BE LIGHT until IT IS DONE, played out here on the space fabric of time in the hearts of men
comes to a close -- if one passes their Judgment] Only the High Priest entered Once a Year on the
DAY OF ATONEMENT, the Judgment Day and Cleansing of the Sanctuary of it's sins once and for all.
Articles of Furniture: Ark of the Covenant (where the 10 Commandments were placed).
Mercy Seat also known as the Judgment Seat (placed over the ark as a lid. God sits in Judgment and has Mercy judging us by the standard of His Law beneath His feet).
***The Apostle Paul puts Christ role as High Priest culminating in the context of the Judgment, the DAY OF ATONEMENT when the Cleansing of the Sanctuary took place.
--But into the second went the high priest alone once every year,
not without blood
which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:
--But Christ being come an High Priest....Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood...How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
And as it is appointed unto men once to die,
 but after this the judgment:
Hebrews 9:9,11,12,14,27
