Symbolism of the "Chair"

Symbolism of the "Chair"

"In the Jewish temple there were no chairs because the priest’s work was never done.
By contrast, Paul informs us that when Jesus finished His work He sat down at the right hand of God: But this man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; Hebrews 10:12." Calvin

*In other words, by Christ sitting symbolized the work was done in that He now had the blood for the Atonement for use in the Judgment. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit:
for the Spirit searcheth all things,
yea, the deep things of God.
1 Corinthians 2:10
